Today for #TransformationTuesday  here’s a quick history lesson on Paper Factory Hotel.

Would you believe, long ago our hotel started as a radio manufacturing company?

It’s true that Pilot Electric Manufacturing Company, which was also refereed to as Pilot Radio Company, was the first industry to be housed in what is now Paper Factory Hotel.

Following Pilot, Romo Paper Products, a paper manufacturing company, opened shop in this huge Long Island City, Queens factory we now call our home.

After the demise of Romo, this massive property was left vacant for quite some time.

And of course, this is where our brand name, Paper Factory Hotel comes from.
